Abducted schoolgirl Nipa Khatun couldn’t be rescued in 8 months


Narail Kantho Desk: An abducted schoolgirl who was allegedly abducted about eight months from her house could not be rescued yet. The family at last had filed a case against fiver persons in this connection with a Jhenidah court finding no other alternative.

The abducted was Nipa Khatun, 16, daughter of Kazi Seraj Hosain of Ramchandrapur village of Shailkupa police station in Jhenidah.

According to the case statement, Nipa was studying in class ten at Ki0smat Ali High school at the village. She was mysteriously missing from the house in the afternoon of January 12 last.

Her father Kazi Seraj Hosain filed a general diary with Shailkupa police station in this connection on the next day. As Nipa was not found, the father filed a case on February 7 of 2018 with the women and child repression special court against five persons, (Case-23/2018).

The petitioner in the case brought accusation against Shaqil Hossasin, son of Shahin Hossasin, Shahin Hossain, son of late late Mahir Uddin, Roni Khatun, wife of Anisur Rahman, Selim, son of Late Mahir Uddin of Ramchandrapur village in Shailkupa and Faruque Hossain, son of Dual Mollah of Shantidanga village of Islamic University in Kushtia.

The father in his petition alleged that some Shaqil had been instigating Nipa Khatun during her school hours on the way. The family members informed the matter to the young man time and again. Even a Shalishi village mediation was also held to settle the matter that came in no effect.

The miscreants in the afternoon of the day Shaqil along with some of other young men picked up her in a micro bus from the house.
